The College of New Jersey maintains its own police department, providing law enforcement and security services 24 hours, 7 days a week. Our Police Department currently employs twenty-four men and women to provide for the College community’s safety as well as the security of all property on campus.

While we understand the excitement of being on campus and wanting to see how your student has updated and organized their room, unfortunately, due to COVID the CDC and NJ Department of Health states the College should “limit access to dorms and residence halls by non-residents.” As a result, we cannot permit families or other non-residential students to enter our halls during Parent and Family Weekend.
