By the Department of Residential Education & Housing
Students interested in living on-campus for all or part of the 2023 Summer semester at TCNJ can now do so by submitting an application through MyHousing. Summer Housing is only available for undergraduate TCNJ students enrolled in summer coursework, TCNJ students working full-time for a college department, or TCNJ students participating in a summer program approved by Residential Education and Housing (i.e. MUSE).
In addition, please take note of the following information:
- Our Summer Housing webpage has information about costs, important dates, and frequently asked questions.
- Students participating in MUSE will receive a separate email with application instructions.
- If students are living on campus through the end of Session 3 and have a subsequent Fall 2023 assignment, they will be asked to move to their fall space early so we can prepare our residence halls for the fall semester.
No meal plans will be available for the summer of 2023. Since summer residents will be residing in Hausdoerffer or Phelps Hall, they will have access to a refrigerator, microwave and a two-burner stove in their apartment as well as a full kitchen in their building.
Students are encouraged to purchase groceries and make meals in their apartment or order from local area restaurants. Fresh Pride Café in the Brower Student Center will be open from 7:30am to 3:30pm, Monday through Thursday (barring the College is not closed) and does accept cash, credit or Get-It Points.
Additionally, there may be opportunities to pay per visit at The Atrium at Eickhoff while some summer camps and conferences groups are on campus and the dining hall will be operational during those periods. A “Feeding Days” calendar should be made available by Sodexo. Any students looking to stay on campus who may be experiencing food insecurity should submit a CARE Referral to access resources through the Dean of Students Office.
